Welcome to the “Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Climate Resilient Water Infrastructure in the CARIFORUM countries” website. Building resilience in the water utilities in Small Islands and Development States as those in the CARIFORUM Region requires that procedures are developed and operationalized for climate proofing the expansion, renovation and retrofitting management, and operation of water distribution systems and infrastructure. This training programme was developed to promote knowledge sharing in climate change adaptation and integrated water resources management (IWRM) for water users’ bodies, local councils, and water management committees.
About this website
This website is designed primarily in English. However, different components of the 5-day training programme will be offered in Spanish and French (i.e. the virtual training sessions) to accommodate and offer flexibility to all participants.
